Caring for your copper
Your copper jewelry is going to live with you. It will patina, darken a little and pick up the glow of your days. That is what makes it yours.
Patina is normal
Pure copper reacts to skin, water and air. Over time it develops a deeper patina. Some people love it, others prefer the original shine. There is no right or wrong way, only your way.
To keep the original shine
- Wipe it with a soft cloth after wearing.
- Gently rub with half a lemon and a pinch of salt, then rinse and dry.
- Store it somewhere dry, in the gift box provided.
Good to know
- A greenish mark on your skin is possible. It is harmless and washes off with soap and water.
- Keep perfume, creams and household cleaners away from the jewelry.
- Take it off for very rough jobs so the surface doesn't get scratched.
